As a member of Lumen Christi Parish in Mequon Thiensville, we have a sister parish in the city called Our Lady of Divine Providence (OLDP) that we support as part of our parish outreach. OLDP is a merger of St. Casimir and St. Mary Czestochowa in the Riverwest where I grew up. My parents still belong there and I have many friends and families that I know there. It's a little amusing at times to think I have moved out of the city to the suburbs and am now sending money and donations back to my home parish. Sounds so paternalistic.
